Recently crowned as Miss Summerville Teen 2020, Gracelyn Gleason — a former patient at Grosso Orthodontics — has been participating in a number of events in the community. These events provide an opportunity to volunteer for charities and other organizations that work to help others. We are happy to support this former patient of Grosso Orthodontics in her endeavors to make the world a better place. We were hoping to have her attend the Flowertown Festival, but with all the social distancing in effect, that wasn’t destined to happen.
Gracelyn’s platform is called S.O.A.P., a thoughtful approach to how people tend to live life in their own personal bubbles. Every day, people go about their routines, not giving much concern for things around them. The S.O.A.P (Serving Others Assisting Providing) platform intends to serve children and teens in the community and across South Carolina who may need more resources in their lives so that they can feel loved. In particular, Gracelyn will be serving children in foster care. To aid in this, she has been collecting items to help give comfort to these children and teens during this difficult time in their life.

Another exciting opportunity for Graceyln is in the Miss South Carolina Teen competition in June. Here, Gracelyn plans on competing for scholarships in the areas of interview, talent, fitness, evening gown/onstage question, social platform, and how much money she raised for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
At Grosso Orthodontics, we are so proud of Gracelyn and all of her hard work to bring comfort to foster children in the area and state. We are happy to support her in this cause, and love giving back to someone who gives so much. We wish Gracelyn the best of luck as she continues to be a ray of light and hope in this world.
